Hiring Department: Undergraduate College Position Open To: All Applicants Weekly Scheduled Hours: 11 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Earliest Start Date: Sep 29, 2025 Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until Dec 31, 2025 Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS Job Details: The Bridging Disciplines Programs (BDP)s at The University of Texas at Austin allow undergraduates to develop a secondary area of specialization that complements their major. Responsibilities

Provide front-desk coverage by answering main line phone system, greeting guests as they enter the office, managing incoming/outgoing mail and shipments, and maintaining an organized, clean office environment. Assist with checking in students with Advisors. Assist with departmental events. Assist with restocking the kitchen and office supply room Assist with organizing and maintaining clean departmental conference rooms. Assist with any other office-related projects. Required Qualifications

Strong, independent, and collaborative work ethic. The ability to work well with others and maintain a professional demeanor. Be punctual and courteous at all times. Be a welcoming presence and greet all guests at the front desk. Be willing to undertake projects as assigned. Current UT Austin student, enrolled/registered with fees paid for the current semester and in good academic standing. Financial aid work-study recipient. Salary Range

$12/hour Working Conditions

Typical Office Environment Position is in-office Flexible work hours between Monday through Friday: 9 am 12 noon; 1 4:30 pm, based on students' class schedule. Expected to Continue Until Dec 31, 2025 with possibility of extension through May 2026 Required Materials
