Flexible Health Savings and Spending Accounts to manage out-of-pocket expenses About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a key role in keeping our production and warehouse facilities running smoothly. This hands-on position is perfect for someone with a strong technical background who thrives on solving problems, improving efficiency, and ensuring a safe and productive workplace. Key Responsibilities: Perform direct maintenance, repairs, and installation of equipment in production and warehouse facilities. Assist in designing, quoting, and executing facility improvement projects. Help develop long-term facility layout and equipment plans to maximize efficiency and capacity. Maintain the Equipment Information and Maintenance Log. Report unsafe or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor and recommend corrective actions. Keep tools and repair equipment organized and in top condition. Travel (5%) to other GEA facilities to support hygiene and microsite operations. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Your Profile / Qualifications: Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED required; electrician's license required. 2+ years' experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in an industrial environment, or HVAC/plumbing/electrical system installation. Proficient in installing and repairing pumps, meters, valves, and motor control circuits (single and 3-phase). Strong vendor communication skills, including obtaining project quotes and managing repair parts inventory. Working knowledge of HVAC, air compressors, plumbing, and basic carpentry. Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email). Safety-conscious with excellent problem-solving abilities. Why Join Us?
