Walmart is building a new AI Acceleration, Product & Design organization to lead our next wave of enterprise transformation. As Director of Finance, you will serve as the financial architect supporting this organization, responsible for shaping investment strategy, prioritizing initiatives, and enabling scalable impact across growth and productivity vectors. The Director, Finance reports directly to the Senior Director, Finance and is both strategic and operational, requiring exceptional financial acumen, change leadership, and cross-functional influence. You will partner directly with senior leaders in Product, Strategy, People, and Finance to drive measurable business outcomes in one of Walmart's most transformative spaces. Partner with leadership to translate the enterprise AI vision into actionable financial plans. Oversee the creation of robust business cases for AI-driven horizontal platforms and tooling. Design and implement frameworks to quantify and track the financial impact of platform-driven change across the org. Serve as a key advisor to Finance, Product, and People leaders to ensure initiatives are financially sound, strategically prioritized, and scalable across Walmart's ecosystem. Present to senior leaders and stakeholders on the financial status, opportunity pipeline, and performance of AI-enabled transformation. Ensure alignment across Finance leadership to standardize benefit definitions, track value realization, and support strategic decisions. 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate transformation roles, ideally within retail, technology, or platform environments. Proven ability to build zero-to-one financial models, shape business cases, and influence strategic investment decisions. Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives with high complexity, ambiguity, and C-suite visibility. Strong command of financial systems, enterprise tools, and the ability to connect granular data with enterprise outcomes. Deep interest in AI, platform thinking, and enabling innovation at scale. Leadership presence with a collaborative mindset; able to operate effectively across organizational layers and functions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 7 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 2 years' supervisory experience. 2 years' experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
