The Director of Sales will be responsible for the company's domestic and international sales channels, inside customer service department and product management. Contributes to sales pricing and administrative policies. Plans and organizes sales initiatives and carries final operating responsibility for the achievement of planned sales objectives. Directs and controls activities of field sales force representatives, distributors, private label and OEM's. Oversees customer service organization to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Participates directly in key accounts relationships. Provides short and long-term business plans related to market conditions, acquisitions, sales strategies, company objectives, and sales goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs company's regional managers, representatives, distributors, private label and OEM customers. Develops outside sales policies that are consistent with the company's plans, goals and strategic objectives. Forecasts, short and long-term sales goals and objectives. Collaborates in the development of products, services, and markets. Knowledge and ability to develop and enforce representative and other business to business contracts and agreements. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university. Master's Degree in a business-related curriculum is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10-15 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry or representative based sales model preferred. Travel Must be able to travel 30% of the time by both air and auto to visit with Regional Managers and attend trade shows and conferences. Must carry and maintain a current valid driver's license and passport.
