Sr. Staff Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accounts, records, ledger, and statements of the company's financial condition in accordance with professional and company standards. The role will also assist with the annual external audit and quarterly review processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include: Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries Perform monthly review and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet and general ledger accounts to ensure accurate reporting Prepare schedules and collect documentation for independent external auditors Improve accounting and reporting efficiency by development new processes Other duties may be determined by management to perform the necessary functions of the department on an as needed basis Requirements include: Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting CPA is preferred 2+ year(s) of experience in public accounting or relevant experience Big 4/Regional Public accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC Rules and Regulations Strong research skills and ability to form opinions/interpretations on accounting standards Very proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications Must have a high level of ethics, integrity, judgment, and confidentiality Arhaus is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
