Senior Manager, Finance - Supply Chain
We are looking for a highly experienced and analytical Senior Manager, Finance to join our Supply Chain finance team. This individual will play a critical role in serving as the finance lead for the Sam's Club Ambient Distribution Centers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving financial performance through data-driven insights and strategic planning. Responsibilities include: Provide financial support for the integration of Sam's Club supply chain into the Walmart Supply Chain Oversee monthly close and create a monthly forecast for the Sam's Club Ambient Distribution Centers Collaborate with business partners to create a detailed Annual Operating Plan for the Sam's Club Ambient Distribution Centers Lead the Long Range Planning Process for the Sam's Club Ambient Distribution Centers Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities to improve labor productivity, and improve end-to-end cost to serve Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and present recommendations to senior and executive leadership Develop and deliver financial reporting to senior leadership on key performance metrics, budget versus actuals, and forecast variances Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and evaluate business opportunities Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports, while adhering to internal controls and compliance requirements You'll sweep us off our feet if: You have experience in financial planning, forecasting, cost estimating, modeling, data visualization, analytics, and working cross-functionally You're curious about digging into the numbers to find new opportunities or patterns to explain "what and why" behind performance You have high standards and are organized, disciplined, and can manage competing priorities simultaneously You're a great communicator, with an eye for detail, and can articulate points in a simplistic approach You are flexible and understand that priorities often change You have experience leading cross-functionally and prioritize the collective success of the team At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet! Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects. 1 year's supervisory experience.
