Job Description CNC Machine Maintenance Technician Location:
Tulsa, OK Job Type:
Full-Time | On-Site | 24/7 Operation Support
Position Overview: A leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled
CNC Machine Maintenance Technician
to support a 24/7 production facility. This role is responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC equipment, facility systems, and related machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with direct experience maintaining complex CNC machining centers and supporting production operations.
This position plays a critical role in reducing downtime and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Technicians may also rotate on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies.
Key Responsibilities: Read work orders, schematics, and technical documentation to determine repair tasks and troubleshoot issues
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC machines, boilers, pumps, HVAC systems, air compressors, filtration systems, forklifts, and other industrial equipment
Conduct fluid checks, coolant changes, and proper disposal of used fluids per environmental protocols
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead/jib cranes as needed
Maintain accurate maintenance logs using ERP or CMMS systems
Safely use hand tools, power tools, solvents, adhesives, and cleaning agents
Track inventory and requisition parts and materials; may transport items using company vehicle
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and return tools to designated areas
Follow all company safety policies and procedures; consistently wear appropriate PPE
Participate in safety committee meetings or initiatives
Communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions in English
Perform additional maintenance or support tasks as assigned
Maintain regular on-site attendance during scheduled shifts
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance with direct exposure to CNC machine repair
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Skilled in the use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to become forklift certified (certification provided upon hire)
Preferred Qualifications: Vocational training or industrial maintenance apprenticeship
Prior experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and maintenance management systems (CMMS or ERP)
Forklift and overhead crane operation experience
Background in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
