Job Description CNC Maintenance Technician Location:
Kent, WA Pay Range:
$28 – $42 per hour Job Type:
Full-Time | On-Site | 24/7 Manufacturing Facility
Position Overview: A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking skilled
CNC Maintenance Technicians
to support the operation and reliability of a high-performance, 24/7 production environment. This role is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of CNC machinery and facility systems to reduce downtime and maximize productivity. Positions are available at Level I, II, and III, based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities: Read work orders, schematics, and technical documentation to identify maintenance needs
Perform preventative maintenance and advanced troubleshooting on CNC machines, HVAC, forklifts, air compressors, cranes, pumps, and other plant systems
Monitor and service machine fluids (e.g., coolants); safely handle and store used fluids for proper disposal
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, overhead/jib cranes, and other powered industrial equipment (certification provided upon hire)
Maintain accurate maintenance records in ERP and/or CMMS systems
Manage spare parts inventory and requisitions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; return tools and materials after use
Follow all company safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to workplace hazard prevention
Communicate clearly in English and follow written/verbal instructions
Higher-level technicians (Level II and III) may train and mentor junior staff
Perform other duties as assigned
Consistent on-site attendance is required
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Minimum
2 years of experience
in industrial or CNC maintenance
Vocational training or apprenticeship in industrial maintenance is strongly preferred
Experience repairing CNC machining centers, including
Haas
and
Toyoda
machines (preferred)
OEM certifications are a plus
Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or work order software preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
