The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering management and a deep understanding of plant operations, driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team to optimize plant performance and drive operational excellence.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while promoting a culture of safety within the plant.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage capital projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with budget and timelines.
- Conduct regular assessments of plant equipment and systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in plant engineering or manufacturing management.
- Proven track record of successful project management and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments.
- Experience with safety regulations and compliance within a manufacturing setting.
