Accounting Assistant
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Woodinville, Washington, where you will play a key role in supporting essential financial operations. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for accuracy in accounting processes. You will handle a variety of tasks, ensuring smooth payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding paperwork for new hires, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Process weekly payroll with attention to detail, including job cost allocation.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management review.
- Submit certified payroll records to relevant state departments and online platforms.
- Handle union returns in compliance with established procedures.
- Process accounts payable invoices, verifying details and ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate and organized records for accounts payable.
- Process accounts receivable payments and generate required reports.
The pay range for this position is $28/hr to $34/hr.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
- Familiarity with invoice processing and payroll systems.
- Ability to handle payroll submissions and certified records.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve discrepancies.
- Knowledge of union returns and compliance procedures.
