Infant Nanny Position
We are seeking a gentle, experienced, and engaged infant nanny to support a loving family with their baby girl in the 78255 area of San Antonio, TX! The ideal candidate will be nurturing and attentive, with confidence in maintaining routines and offering consistent care throughout the week.
The family's daughter is a sweet and curious infant who thrives on structure and interaction. The nanny will help support her feeding, naps, and playtime, while also offering gentle developmental support and keeping her daily schedule consistent. A nanny who can provide warmth, talkative interaction, and patience with emotional regulation will be a great fit.
Schedule: Monday - 11:30AM-6:45PM and Tuesday to Friday 11:30 AM to 6:00PM (Varies slightly by day Friday ends at 6:00 PM, Monday ends at 6:45 PM) Start Date: August 1, 2025 Anticipated End Date: February 1, 2026 Commitment: Ongoing, full school year + more if needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for one infant (born February 2025)
- Maintain a consistent feeding and nap routine
- Support developmental play and verbal engagement
- Diaper changes every 2 hours and before feedings
- Bottle feedings every 33.5 hours (4.55 oz per feeding), followed by upright holding for reflux
- Keep her upright 3040 minutes after feeding to manage reflux
- Gentle emotional regulation support
- Light household tasks related to baby (bottles, tidying nursery/toys, laundry)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required prior to hire
- At least one year of infant childcare experience (paid preferred)
- Experience with reflux care or special feeding routines a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check (provided and required)
- Three childcare references (ready upon request)
