Assembler Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete assembly of components or products and prepare products and other items for shipment
• Assemble or modify electronic equipment, position, align and adjust work pieces and electronic parts to facilitate wiring assembly
• Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during and/or after assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards
• Set up jobs and fill out paperwork for production
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Identify and pick out various sizes of wire for production

Other Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of related assembly experience
• IPC Certification
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers
• Advanced soldering and crimping skills
• Knowledge of kitting-bagging to prepare product for shipment
• Knowledge of crimping machine and changing of dies in bench top crimper
• Advanced knowledge of IPC Training Modules
• Good time management skills
• Able to read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions
• Able to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aids
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
