AP Accountant

Position Summary :

Samsung SDS plays a leading role in the global logistics market with innovative logistics services. Since developing the integrated logistics solution "Cello" in 2010 and expanding into logistics business in 2012, Samsung SDS has grown into a top-tier global third-party logistics provider.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to manage our payables process. The AP Accountant will handle vendor invoices, verify and reconcile accounts, prepare payments, and ensure accurate and timely processing of payables. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting principles, financial reporting, and proficiency with accounting software.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare journal entries, including accruals and amortizations, during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor AP aging reports for timely payments and accurate cash forecasting.
• Maintain vendor master data.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Handle clerical tasks related to payable transactions.
• Participate in cross-training to ensure continuity.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and disposals.
• Maintain leased asset records and ensure lease compliance.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and updates for HQ.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree required.
• At least 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of financial, cost, and management accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred :

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Experience with Monthly Closing and Financial Reporting.
• Experience using SAP system.
