Position Details:
* Start Date: 08/25/2025
* Contract Length: 12 weeks
* Shift Options: Rotating
* Days (3x12-hour shifts, 07:00-19:30) OR
* Nights (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30)
* Weekends: Every other weekend required
* Patient Ratio: 1:2 (max 1:3 for lower acuity)
Requirements:
* Licensure: Active Maryland or Compact RN license (required at submission)
* Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI (all required)
* Experience:
* Minimum 2 years ICU experience (travel experience required)
* Experience with cardiac, neuro, and surgical ICU patients
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Skills:
* Ventilator management and critical care experience
* Titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips (Propofol, Precedex, Nicardipine)
* CRRT experience preferred (Next Stage)
* Experience with arterial lines, central lines, and chest tubes
* Proning experience preferred
Unit Highlights:
* 28-bed ICU with average daily census of 10-14
* Specialized equipment: Vents, CRRT Next Stage, IABP
* Patient population includes:
* MICU: Sepsis, ARDS, pneumonia, overdoses
* SICU: Post-abdominal surgery, neuro/spine cases
* Cardiac: Post-MI, cardiogenic shock, post-cath
* No trauma cases
Additional Information:
* Floating: Required to Cardiac Surgical ICU, Telemetry, IMC (travelers float first)
* Scrub Color: Navy blue
