HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 09/02/2025 * Duration: 12 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, days, nights * Employment Type: Travel Position Overview: Provide comprehensive care across multiple MS/Tele units in a fast-paced hospital environment. This float pool position requires adaptability to different units while maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Key Responsibilities: * Manage 5–6 patients with acute/chronic conditions (cardiac, respiratory, post-surgical, renal). * Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation. * Administer medications (including heparin protocols, cardiac drips). * Perform wound care, trach care, chest tube management. * Float to ER holding and other MS/Tele units as needed. Requirements: * Licensure: Active Maryland or Compact RN license (required at submission). * Certifications: * Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI. * Experience: * 2+ years MS/Tele experience (float experience preferred). * Travel experience required. * Proficiency with Epic charting (preferred). * Skills: * Strong phlebotomy, IV therapy, and PICC line management. * Experience with ventilated patients, titrating drips, rapid response. Unit Details: * Patient Ratio: 1:5 (all shifts). * Patient Population: Adults & geriatrics (cardiac, post-op, neuro, renal). * Floating: Required across all MS/Tele units (including ER holding).
