Summary: Our award-winning client is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. Our client, a leader in the consumer products industry, is looking for a talented and driven HR Generalist to join their team at a manufacturing plant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a highly visible role that offers excellent growth opportunities and a chance to make a significant impact on the company's success. As the HR Generalist, you will be a key player in ensuring the plant's HR needs are met, with a strong focus on employee relations, compliance, and operational excellence. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team, working closely with cross-functional departments and corporate HR to implement and administer policies and programs. This position reports directly to the site HR leader. Responsibilities: Employee Relations & Compliance: Implement and manage employee and labor relations policies and practices. You'll be the point person for a variety of HR programs, including EEO, unemployment, litigation, and terminations, ensuring all actions comply with legal requirements.
Strategic Partnerships: Partner with various business units, including Staffing, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and Legal, to address organizational needs and drive company growth.
HR Program Management: Drive initiatives that enhance diversity and ensure legal compliance with EEO/AAP regulations. You'll play a crucial role in fostering positive employee relations to support the company's revenue and creativity goals.
HR Strategy Implementation: Ensure current HR requirements are met and the overall HR strategy is effectively implemented at the plant level.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing plant setting.
Experience in a union environment is a plus.
