Description of Duties:

The

Project Management Office Lead

supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

·

Provide expertise, guidance and oversight for all project management activities on the contract.

·

Establish standards and performance measures for key project management metrics

·

Deliver tools, standards, templates, processes, procedures and training material to enable successful project performance across the contract.

·

Integrate across IRES TOs (Cross-TO coordination) to facilitate consistent PMO processes and reporting, obtain feedback, share insights, and continuous improvement opportunities.

·

Enable delivery of enterprise project requirements IAW scope, cost, schedule and quality.

·

Make recommendations on enterprise multidisciplinary resource sharing/allocation.

·

Conduct new and recurring Project Manager and Integrated Project Lead training and certification as required.

·

Lead, mentor, teach, and train Project Managers and Integrated Project Leads to communicate, engage, and coordinate activities across diverse stakeholders.

·

Serve as an integrator across the contract, leveraging relationships and familiarity within the Missile Defense Agency.

·

Perform supervisory activities to include performance evaluations, goal/priority setting, and performance actions as needed.

·

Integrate Systems Engineering Principles and Requirements into Project Management and delivery processes across the enterprise.

·

Perform Control Account (CA) activities as a CA Manager (CAM) to include authorizing charge codes, tracking labor use against CA, and contributing to CA forecasting with the Earned Value (EV) team.

·

Provide status and briefings to leadership, to include senior government customers and stakeholders.

·

Use interpersonal skills to solve both technical and organizational conflicts.
