We have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician to join a vibrant practice in Plymouth, Indiana, located near the University of Notre Dame. This facility offers a unique opportunity to work in a safety net clinic environment, focusing primarily on outpatient care. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere with two physicians and a nurse practitioner. Job Responsibilities:
Assess, evaluate, and treat patients in both hospital and medical office settings. Work collaboratively with supervising physicians to develop and implement treatment plans. Cater to a diverse patient demographic, from pediatrics to geriatrics. Perform basic procedures and order diagnostic tests as needed. Opportunities for clinical teaching with St. Joseph Health System Family Medicine residents. Maintain adherence to the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately. Provide patient education on medical conditions and treatment methodologies. Reassess patient care plans and modify as necessary to achieve health goals. Participate in quality assurance and compliance audits. Demonstrate flexibility in handling schedule coverage and service excellence. Qualifications:
Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Family Medicine (preferred) or Internal Medicine. Indiana medical license (or willingness to obtain). Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain). DEA certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience working with patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics. EPIC EMR knowledge is highly preferred. License and Certification Requirements:
COVID vaccination. Eligibility for an Indiana medical license. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and DEA or willingness to obtain.
