Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a call-only locum tenens opportunity from September 8-22, 2025 . This is a great chance to work in an inpatient setting and collaborate with a dedicated mental health team.

• Schedule: Call coverage from September 8-22, 2025 .
• Setting: Inpatient (Behavioral Health Unit)
• Hospital Beds: Our Behavioral Health Unit has a 14-bed floor .
• Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for rounding and admissions .
• The average patient load is 8-14 patients per day , which you will split with a mental health FNP on the floor.
• You will be required to sign off on IVC paperwork within a 24-hour period.
• You will also sign off on required paperwork for our full-time mental health FNP.
• Call & Admissions:
• During call, you can expect an average of 3 phone consults .
• Admissions vary, typically 1-2 per shift .
• Callbacks vary depending on the patient census and needs.
• Team: You will be part of a supportive team that includes 20 RNs, 4 CNAs, 1 FNP, 1 RN director, and other support staff.
• EMR System: We utilize MediTech for our electronic medical records.

• Licensure: You must have an active license .
• Minimum Board Certification: Please specify the minimum board certification requirement.
