Telemetry RN Job Details Location: Meridian, ID 83642 (Idaho nursing jobs) Facility Setting: Acute Care - Telemetry Unit (27 beds, expanding to 37) Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Nursing) Shift: 12-hour nights (1900-0730), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680-$1800 Assignment Duration: 20 weeks (Start: 9/1/2025 - End: 1/19/2026) Orientation: System onboarding plus 2 orientation shifts Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Idaho RN license or compact state Registered Nurse license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience Proficient in cardiac drips, NIH stroke assessment, post-cath recovery, and chest tube management Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Skilled in reading and interpreting telemetry strips; documentation required every 6 hours Willing to float to similar units and Med/Surg, and to Boise or Nampa Medical Centers as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, stroke, and complex medical conditions Monitor and document telemetry readings using SpaceLab and Philips monitors Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including charge nurses, nurse aides, and respiratory therapists Care for patients with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal and respiratory failure, and post-cath lab recovery Utilize and manage CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment (RT support provided) Maintain professional standards, including clean and well-kept scrubs of any color Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as needed Document patient care in Epic EMR system Take your nursing career to the next level with this travel Telemetry RN job in Meridian, Idaho.
