Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Edmonds, Washington (98026) - Seattle metro area Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (locum tenens) Healthcare Setting: Family Center, Labor & Delivery Unit Start Date: September 8, 2025 End Date: December 8, 2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts/week Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2050 Patient Population: Infants, Adults Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care Active Washington RN license or Compact RN license Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Proficiency with Epic EMR charting system Experience with high-risk antepartum, obstetrical triage, and couplet care Ability to float to related maternal-child health units Strong IV start and fetal heart monitoring (FHM) skills Proof of permanent residence (driver's license) if local Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years L&D Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care settings Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including circulating in the operating room Administer blood products and medications (including insulin, magnesium sulfate); manage epidural and PCA pumps Perform and document patient assessments, interventions, and evaluations using Epic EMR Maintain and monitor central lines, drains, and specialized equipment Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care best practices Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions Float to other maternal-child health units as needed Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your nursing career with this travel L&D RN job in Edmonds, Washington!
