The Assistant Superintendent supports the on-site coordination and management of commercial construction projects. This individual will work under the guidance of the Superintendent and Project Manager to assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of day-to-day job site operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on field experience with a General Contractor, understands commercial construction processes, and is eager to grow into a leadership role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Superintendent in managing all aspects of the project site, including safety, quality control, and daily activities.
  • Help coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, equipment usage, and inspections to maintain the project schedule.
  • Assist with daily site meetings and prepare or maintain look-ahead schedules.
  • Interpret drawings and scopes of work to help ensure proper field execution.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site in compliance with Eno Company and OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Manager to resolve on-site challenges, address RFIs, and ensure accurate execution of plans.
  • Assist in the documentation of daily reports, site photos, and progress tracking.
  • Observe and help enforce company standards of professionalism and customer interaction on the job site.


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of field experience with a General Contractor, ideally in commercial construction settings.
  • Familiarity with construction processes, terminology, sequencing, and building systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Exposure to fast-paced job sites and working with multiple trades.
  • Proficiency or familiarity with construction technology tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations; OSHA 30 certification a plus.
  • Willingness to take direction, learn, and grow within a dynamic project team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
