First Atlantic Healthcare is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team supporting the local Maine communities.
The position offers a hybrid flexible schedule with travel required to the local facilities.
The Talent Acquisition Partner will work closely with the facility-based hiring teams to recruit and attract top talent within a specified geographic area (Northern or Southern Maine).
The Talent Acquisition Partner will research, develop, and implement effective sourcing, recruiting, and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.
Responsibilities include forecasting hiring needs, sourcing potential hires on various platforms, building relationships with passive candidates and hiring managers.
Requirements of the Talent Acquisition Partner
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, with 2–4+ years of progressive recruiting/talent acquisition experience within healthcare or a 24/7 work environment preferred. Professional Human Resources certification (PHR, SPRH, SHRM-SP, SHRM-CP, or other recognized credential) preferred. Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing and evaluation. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for various roles. Experience working in HRIS and/or applicant tracking systems (Symplr or HC Source a plus). Current knowledge of Maine and Federal labor/employment laws applicable to hiring and recruitment. Effective communication skills across all organizational levels. Ability to prioritize and adapt in a changing work environment, including adjusting schedules to meet needs. Strong planning, organizational skills, and a team-oriented attitude. Proficiency in managing multiple pipelines, candidate follow-through, and sourcing passive candidates using creative techniques and various job boards. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Partner with facility leaders and hiring managers to build candidate pipelines and determine staffing needs. Utilize various recruiting techniques to attract top talent. Support diversity hiring efforts across all organizational levels. Leverage platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, and niche sites for sourcing and posting. Create a positive candidate experience. Develop relationships with colleges, community organizations, and professional groups to enhance internship and training programs. Identify and implement effective recruiting strategies based on role and industry standards. Attend and participate in job fairs and community events. Coach and train hiring managers on interview processes as needed. Manage all recruitment phases and track KPIs like time-to-fill and source of hire, providing improvement recommendations.
