Our client is currently seeking a qualified

Level 2 Field Service Technician to join their team

onsite

in Boston, MA and provide end-user support.

Duties and Responsibilities

:

Travel to various customer sites to perform break fix repairs on laser printers, primarily Lexmark Provide Smart hands network support Perform break fix on laptops and desktops including Apple laptops Perform Point of Sale replacement Perform Network cable testing Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers and order / replace needed parts Replace / install / remove network equipment such as routers, servers, switches, UPS, etc. Route cables on data racks, counters, desks, etc.

Skills and Qualifications

:

Repair experience on printers down to the boards and motors / gears level, not just replacing consumables Excellent technical skills Experience successfully replacing parts in laptops down to the system board level, Lenovo and Client certified a plus Apple laptop certified is a big plus Knowledge on how to connect to network devices with a laptop and use Putty Knowledge on network cable testing and how to use testing tools Must be able to work in a team with other techs and willing to share responsibilities Excellent customer service skills

Wage Range

: The rate for this position is between

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
