Stanford University seeks a qualified individual for the full-time position of

Quality Control Analyst - Defense . The analyst will assist the outside linebackers Coach and the Head Coach of the Football program in a Division I athletics setting. This is a fixed-term position ending on Jan. 31, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

Assist the Outside Linebackers Coach and Head Coach in coaching the outside linebackers.

Assist with recruiting, training, practice, fundraising, budget management, and team travel.

Help plan and organize team training and practice sessions.

Participate in on-field coaching during practices and competitions.

Analyze game and practice footage to identify trends and suggest adjustments.

Research opposing teams’ strategies and tendencies to inform game planning.

Support coaching staff in training outside linebackers.

Understand and apply NCAA regulations.

Represent the football program at events and department-wide programs.

Perform other duties as assigned by the coaching staff.

Qualifications for success:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of football and defense strategies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to comply with NCAA, conference, and university rules.

Ability to work cooperatively with staff and community.

The expected pay range is $69,500 to $70,000 annually, with benefits detailed on Stanford’s benefits website. The position emphasizes integrity, compliance, and maintaining the university’s reputation.
