Pay : $30-38/hr Job Summary:
The Industrial Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical components to support uninterrupted production operations.
Job Duties:
Install and maintain wiring, panels, motors, and control systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, replacing faulty components as needed. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and industry standards. Follow all safety protocols and train staff in safe electrical practices.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or apprenticeship preferred. 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, ideally in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, control circuits, and automation systems. Skilled in reading schematics and using electrical testing equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions (noise, temperature extremes, confined spaces).
