A law firm seeks an experienced Healthcare Transactional Attorney to join its team at the Partner level. The ideal candidate will lead healthcare mergers and acquisitions, guide regulatory compliance, and oversee the drafting and negotiating of agreements across multiple healthcare sectors. This role requires substantial expertise in healthcare law, a proven ability to close high-value transactions, and the skills to collaborate in a forward-thinking environment. Duties
Lead healthcare mergers and acquisitions, including joint ventures, partnerships, and related transactions. Negotiate and draft comprehensive corporate and transactional documents such as: Operating agreements Management agreements Employment and independent contractor agreements Purchase and lease agreements Billing services agreements Provide strategic legal counsel on regulatory compliance, addressing fraud and abuse, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, ERISA, corporate practice rules, and fee-splitting laws. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve legal complexities and deliver tailored, actionable solutions. Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare transactional law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation. Expertise in healthcare laws and regulations, including but not limited to: Stark Law Anti-Kickback Statute ERISA Corporate practice of the profession Fee-splitting laws Exceptional ability to manage high-pressure situations, meet deadlines, and address sensitive issues diplomatically. Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active Bar admission in New Jersey (New York Bar admission is a plus). Certifications
NJ Bar admission is mandatory. NY Bar admission (preferred but not required). Skills
