Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the downtown Chicago, IL office. About Our Client Our client is a growing plaintiff personal injury law firm dedicated to advocating for individuals who have been injured due to negligence. They are expanding their team and seeking a motivated Litigation Paralegal to support their attorneys in handling a variety of personal injury cases. Job Description Assist attorneys with all aspects of personal injury litigation, from case inception to resolution. Conduct initial client interviews and schedule formal intakes. Review and summarize medical records and bills. Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain case calendars. Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Open insurance claims and communicate with adjusters. Research and collect evidence for pre-suit investigations. Draft and respond to discovery requests. Prepare and file court documents. Qualifications 1+ years of litigation experience, strongly preferred any of the following: personal injury, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, asbestos/toxic tort litigation or commercial litigation. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
