TIG/MIG Welder
We are seeking a skilled TIG/MIG Welder for our first shift in Plant 1. The role primarily involves custom TIG welding on fabricated steel structures, but proficiency in both MIG and TIG disciplines is required. Candidates should be able to work from complex blueprints to fabricate and weld small to large steel and aluminum structures, with a focus on Pedal TIG welding.
Responsibilities
- Perform custom TIG and MIG welding on fabricated steel structures.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints to fabricate and weld steel and aluminum structures.
- Utilize Pedal TIG welding techniques for projects.
- Engage in fit-up welding and Pulse MIG Welding.
- Work with a variety of materials including aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of MIG Welding experience.
- 1+ year of TIG Welding experience.
- 2+ years of experience working off blueprints.
- 1+ year of fabricating experience.
- 1+ year of welding experience with aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless steel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Experience with sheet metal and steel fabrication.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic environment focused on manufacturing a variety of sheet metal products. The second shift operates from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. The role involves custom welding work, with tasks ranging from creating custom computer cabinets to large frames for the oil industry. Metal thickness ranges from 3/32 to 1/2 inch, using materials such as aluminum, low carbon steel, and various stainless steels. Our company offers a full-service metal manufacturing experience, from prototyping to precision fabrication and assembly.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
