The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the recruitment process, providing essential support to the talent acquisition team and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. This role involves managing the administrative aspects of recruitment, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates and hiring managers. This role is a contract position and will be onsite in our San Diego office 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
These may include but are not limited to:
- Create a positive and seamless experience for all candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process
- Facilitate all things in our applicant tracking system, not limited to creating job postings, system maintenance, process improvements, onboarding and user access
- Maintain and update Talent Acquisition Metrics and dashboards for reporting
- Work with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition partners, and candidates to schedule and coordinate interviews and presentations
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the entire interview process
- Facilitate scheduling and logistics for interviews and debriefs
- Provide updates to candidates regarding their applicant and interview status
- Support the communication and coordination of interview and offer related activities for candidates
- General day-to-day scheduling and administrative duties
- Coordinate candidate travel and the candidate expenses process, as needed
- Offer ideas to streamline our processes and improve upon existing programs
- Take on projects of impact to our workflow and experiences provided
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related business degree.
- Minimum 1+ years as a coordinator within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
- Experience with heavy scheduling and calendaring
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask and extremely detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MS Word, Excel
- Strong sense of Urgency
- Preferred: Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
- Experience working with Workday or other similar tools
