At Walden's Lakeview Dining, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional fine dining experience with elegant cuisine, impeccable service, and a warm, sophisticated atmosphere. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Cashier to be the final touchpoint of excellence for our guests.
Job Summary
The Fine Dining Cashier is responsible for accurately handling guest transactions, handling reservations and takeout orders, and ensuring a seamless and gracious check-out experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:

• Handle guest payments with accuracy and efficiency using POS systems
• Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions
• Manage end-of-shift financial reports and balancing the cash drawer
• Coordinate with hosts and servers to ensure smooth guest transitions
• Handle takeout orders with precision and hospitality
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
• Assist with administrative or front-of-house tasks as needed
• Uphold the restaurant's fine dining standards in appearance and conduct

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or customer service experience (fine dining or hospitality preferred)
• Strong math and communication skills
• Polished, professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, high-end environment
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
