Senior Manager International Tax Compliance & Reporting

Join our team as a key player in managing the international side of U.S. tax compliance. RTX Corporate is in search of a talented Senior Manager International Tax Compliance & Reporting. In this role, you'll ensure we stay ahead of global tax requirements while supporting our expanding international operations. You'll collaborate with finance, legal, and external advisors to deliver accurate reporting, on-time filings, and thorough documentation. You'll also keep a close eye on evolving tax laws and provide strategic guidance on global transactions, structures, and operations. This is a high-impact opportunity to help reduce tax risk, enhance efficiency, and shape the company's global tax strategy.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage international compliance for RTX
  • Form 5471, Form 8865, Form 8858
  • Data gathering, analysis, & review
  • Data mapping from financial to tax systems
  • Entity management
  • Corptax processing
  • Foreign Tax Credit process (861-8 allocations, earnings & profits, U.S. inclusions, Form 1118, return to accrual analysis)
  • Elections and disclosures
  • Design and implement international compliance process improvements, including automation, global processing and review, and ACE (standardizing) international compliance
  • Manage co-sourcing relationship
  • Interface with International Group on FTC planning and transactional reporting
  • Assist with yearend financial reporting
  • Coordinate international aspects of subpart F, dividends, and FTC modeling exercises
  • Support federal audit group
  • Other related projects as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • This role typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and at least 10 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 7 years' experience gained in a public accounting or large multinational corporate tax environment
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in U.S. international tax law, compliance processes, and tax accountingcovering Subpart F, Section 861, foreign tax credits, outbound transactions, financial reporting, and process improvement.

Location/Type: Hybrid

  • Farmington, CT is the preferred location, however candidates located near an RTX hub will also be considered.

The salary range for this role is $124,000 USD - $250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
