Due to the growth and excitement surrounding VFP, we are looking to add an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team!

This is an entry level role that will assist the Senior AP Specialists with the day-to-day needs of the department, which will include setting up payables, adjusting files as needed and researching problem invoices. If you are a detail-oriented, numbers driven individual, who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run daily checks/ach payments
• Answer AP Emails
• Set up new mills, customers & reloads
• Enter mill & truck invoices for payment and research & solve issues that may arise
• Process adjustments when needed
• Handle truck claims
• Help cover the reception desk and answer phones when necessary

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor or Associates degree from a college or technical school preferred

• Organized, competent, reliable and dependable
• An analytical thinker who enjoys problem solving
