Real Estate Paralegal

My client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience supporting attorneys in commercial real estate transactions. You will be responsible for assisting with drafting transactional documents and managing due diligence. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and related documents; prepare title/survey objection letters and summaries. Coordinate closings, including preparation of closing checklists, escrow instructions, and closing binders. Draft and review real estate documents such as deeds, easements, affidavits, UCC filings, and lease abstracts. Conduct due diligence, including corporate/entity searches and lien and judgment searches. Communicate with clients, title companies, surveyors, lenders, and government agencies as needed. Maintain and organize transaction files and assist with post-closing documentation. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm setting. Strong understanding of commercial real estate practices and terminology. Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting title and survey documents. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document management systems is a plus. Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required.
