Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports Retirement Income Source SFG by executing day-to-day marketing activities, coordinating campaigns, and tracking results across social, email, events, and creative projects. This role partners closely with the Marketing Director and field offices to deliver brand-consistent, lead-generating initiatives.
Travel is required
2-5 days per month.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and help implement the firm's marketing strategy for Retirement Income Source SFG. Partner with the Marketing Director on branding, lead generation, and integrated marketing campaigns. Create, manage, and/or implement social media campaigns (planning, posting, community monitoring, basic reporting). Create, manage, and/or implement email campaigns (lists, templates, scheduling, QA, performance tracking). Plan and/or support event marketing for the company and its 10 Northeast offices (pre-event promotion, onsite support as needed, post-event follow-up). Use Canva to produce simple deliverables; request, route, and manage creative assets for larger projects with internal/external designers. Track and report marketing and production metrics to measure campaign performance and ROI. Capture content and provide backup support at occasional events (may include some evenings/weekends). Maintain project trackers and report progress, risks, and timelines to the Marketing Director. Travel requirement is approximately 2-5 days per month. Perform additional administrative-related duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities described in the above job description are not a comprehensive list. Must-Have Qualifications
Industry Experience
1-3 years of marketing coordination, communications, or events experience (agency or financial services a plus). Background and Education:
Undergrad degree preferred or relevant work experience Working knowledge of social platforms and basic analytics. Hands-on experience with email marketing tools and list management. Strong writing, proofreading, and organization skills with keen attention to detail. Comfortable juggling multiple deadlines and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Technology Expertise:
Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) and project management tools. Proficiency with Canva; familiarity with routing creative and managing feedback. Basic photo/video capture for social/event content. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to work for extended periods at a desk using a computer. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds if/when necessary. Routine use of telephone and email. Standard business hours in an office-based role with travel to conferences, events, and satellite offices. Benefits
