Contracts Administrator (Senior-Level)
Cimarron and Amentum are seeking a senior-level Contracts Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Key Duties: Support the Contracts Management Lead in day-to-day contract administration. Develop, maintain, and enforce processes for pre-final billing, contract modifications, limitations of funds, and other compliance activities. Draft and review contractual documents, including Limitation of Funds notifications, Memorandums, Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REA), and Notifications of Change. Audit proposal documents such as Basis of Estimate (BOEs), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Cost Proposals to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements. Ensure all contract and proposal deliverables are completed on time and in compliance with Request for Proposal (RFP) and base contract requirements. Track, report, and resolve costs in excess for all task orders. Maintain accurate funding trackers and contract briefs, providing data entry support as needed. Perform additional administrative tasks to support contract execution. Serve as the primary interface with the Government Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). Support task order teams in identifying, communicating, and resolving contractual issues with the Government. Lead discussions and support negotiations with the Government customer. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Government customers, Directors, Project Managers, and Finance teams. Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior members of the Contracts team. Advise task order leadership on contract type selection, risk management strategies, and performance measurement criteria. Brief senior leadership on contract status, performance metrics, and issues impacting financial and technical execution. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. Strong math aptitude to support contract and financial analysis. Responsive, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented. 6 or more years of directly related experience in one or more of the following areas: Contract Administration, Proposal Development, Finance, Business Administration, Acquisition, or Procurement. Experience and familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
