Essential Duties Administer and manage all employee leave programs in compliance with federal and state and local regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leave laws. Maintain accurate and complete confidential leave records, ensuring timely updates and documentation in HR systems. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with HR, legal, and operations teams to monitor compliance, conduct audits, and address any discrepancies or violations. Prepare and submit required reports related to leave and compliance to internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies. Provide training and guidance to management and staff on leave policies and compliance best practices. Analyze leave data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Develop, review and update company policies and processes to alignment with current laws and industry regulations; also including Core Values and Niterra standards. Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare necessary documentation, and address any findings or recommendations. Assist in the planning and execution of engagement initiatives that promote retention. Gather and analyze feedback from associates to support continuous improvement efforts. Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to engagement activities and project outcomes. Perform all job-related tasks as assigned Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant Human Resources or a Business related field required Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Foundational knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance requirements including FMLA and ADA proficiency Solid understanding of the full employee life cycle related to employee engagement Provide seamless communication and collaboration to support project execution Proven experience with developing and creating policies and procedures; not limited to updating handbooks Proficiency in navigating Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); experience with data reporting and analysis preferred High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality Proven ability to meet deadlines Proven ability to interact with sensitivity and professionalism in a multicultural environment Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team Proven ability to manage and safeguard confidential and sensitive information Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace Why Work For Niterra
