We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. This is a crucial role within a dynamic healthcare environment where you will provide essential care and support to patients in need of emergency medical attention.
Position Overview: - Shift: PM, 12 hours - Contract Duration: 14-16 weeks - Schedule: Rotational shifts from 7 PM to 11 AM or 1 PM - Guaranteed Hours: 92 contract weeks
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment. - Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain current knowledge of emergency nursing best practices and protocols. - Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during crisis situations.
Qualifications: - Active RN license with an emphasis on Emergency Nursing. - Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) are mandatory. - Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environment preferred. - Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
