Full-Time Bookkeeper Construction Company
We are a well-established construction company seeking a
detail-oriented, experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper
to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping for the construction industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting our management team.
Responsibilities:
Accurately enter estimates contracts, change orders into
QuickBooks . Accurately enter and code bills, invoices, and expenses into
QuickBooks . Prepare and process vendor payments (checks, ACH, credit card, etc.). Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts monthly. Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. Process payroll and maintain related records. Track project expenses and job costing for accurate reporting. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting. Maintain organized digital and physical records in compliance with company policies. Communicate with vendors, clients, and management regarding billing or payment issues.
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years experience
in bookkeeping with Quickbooks, preferably in construction or a related industry. Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop. Strong understanding of accounting principles and job costing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Benefits:
