Job Description Description: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning and analysis function across the business. This role will lead revenue planning and forecasting, manage department budgets, support the annual operating plan, and provide detailed financial analysis to drive Ruprecht business performance. The analyst will serve as a key financial partner, delivering insights that support decision-making across sales, marketing, and operations.

Role and Responsibilities Lead the integrated revenue, margin and balance sheet aspects for monthly close, monthly forecasting and planning processes in close collaboration with the Commercial organization. Provide detailed analysis of monthly sales and margin variances, programs and allowances, accounts receivables as well as ad hoc analytics as situations arise. Identify areas of income opportunities or exposure based on either selling or raw material price changes. Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, internal control and external audit activities related to commercial finance. Manage department-level budgets for Commercial and Marketing, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial goals. Consolidate and report financial results, including variance analysis and performance metrics, for leadership review. Partner with commercial and operations to identify SKU rationalization targets Analyze customer, channel, and product-level profitability to support pricing, promotions, and portfolio optimization. Lead demand forecasting efforts, integrating inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Operations to improve accuracy and responsiveness. Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations related to commercial activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial transparency and decision-making. Assist in the development and automation of reporting tools and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across financial systems and processes

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required 3+ years of experience supporting a commercial organization in a financial analyst/senior financial analyst role Prior experience with Fortune 500 company or CPG industry experience preferred Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI Experience working with ERP (Syspro, QuickBooks) systems Detail oriented with a focus on delivering timely and accurate results Process oriented with a focus on challenging the status quo and being the agent of change
