This position will work out of the Itasca, IL office 5 days a week.
Position Overview: This position is responsible for all areas related to serviced transactions including preparation of related journal entries and reconciliations. Candidate will be responsible for daily cash reconciliation and remittance to syndication partners. This position will also provide support and back-up to other areas of accounting as needed, including account analysis, reconciliations, month-end close, and assisting in both external and internal audits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Servicing related tasks including:
Daily cash reconciliation and preparation of remittances to syndication partners. Preparation, review, and setup of serviced contracts in back-end systems. Invoicing for service fees and any expenses incurred during the month. Preparation of related journal entries including asset sales and service fee income. Reconciliation of servicer related receivable and payable accounts. Preparation of monthly servicing reports for investors.
Other account analysis and reconciliation
Assist in general account analysis preparation as assigned. Investigate reconciling differences and address appropriately.
Assist with audit process
Prepare and provide schedules and documents related to both internal and external audit as required.
Other projects and initiatives as requested.
KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators): Timely processing of servicer related payments and reporting. Accurate invoicing of expenses and servicing fees.
Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority: Work under supervision; decision-making within Company policy.
Management/Supervisory
Responsibilities: N/A
Qualifications: Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and ability to learn new applications. Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in accounting or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years related accounting experience.
Tools and Equipment Used: Personal computer, copier, phone, and other typical office equipment
Working Hours: Hours may vary and may require some evening work; frequently requires working 40-45 hours/week depending on business needs. Travel: Occasional travel to other offices as deemed necessary.
Physical Demands: Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc. Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person. Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.

The position is exempt and the salary will be between $69,000.00 and $81,000.00 with an opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus.
