How you create impact
Reporting to the Sea Logistics Operational Care Manager, Import you will be responsible for ensuring that our internal customers' experience is a positive one each and every time they engage with the Operational Care Center (OCC). You will be responsible for direct interaction with Customer Care Locations (CCL), proactive customer service, problem solving, follow up, interaction with our customer service colleagues.
Develop and support a team in order to assure committed quality of operational services. Provide consistent instruction and support to team leads/team members, as needed.
Actively communicate with team members on group and individual level with aim to build positive team atmosphere, motivation, and results (e.g. team meetings, (1:1 discussions).
Manage team members' timecards, including PTO, corrections and approvals
Assure that team executes tasks with expected level of productivity & performance and evaluate employees' performance and growth together with Operations Manager and trigger actions for improvement and development if needed
Collaborate and gain approval from operations management for implementation of any process changes, while driving continuous improvement initiatives for the Operational Care Center.
Ensure regular alignment with operations management on proper KPI/productivity reporting and other applicable reports
Collaborate with the Customer Care Location (CCL) to ensure we deliver on their customer commitments by analyzing customer KPI reports in order to communicate and assist the CCL in implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Schedule meetings and actively communicate with branch management during those meetings. Also acting as a second point of contact when responding to escalations, support emails and Investigating loss file reporting.
Understand and act as secondary support for team with any systematic issues that have been established and documented.
What we would like you to bring
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of freight forwarding experience.
1+ years of customer service experience
You have the ability to work onsite 5 days per week

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
