Overview
Kimley-Horn is looking for Software Engineering students to join our Peachtree, Georgia (GA) office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Support development of existing and emerging software products in Kimley-Horn's portfolio.
Work with team members and business partners to understand and design project requirements and enhancements based on business and user needs
Develop applications and creative solutions based on project requirements
Apply bug fixes and enhancements to existing solutions
Implement and support applications post deployment
Quickly evaluate bugs, and apply fixes to resolve issues
Understand and apply best practices; remain knowledgeable of trends in the software development industry
Qualifications
In the process of obtaining an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelor or Masters) in these majors:
Software Engineering
Computer Science
Systems Engineering
or related field of study Familiarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle
Desired Qualifications:
Web development experience building complex applications with HTML5 & JavaScript framework, WPF Applications, or C# Services Experience with two of the following: ASP.NET, HTML5/CSS, MEAN stack, REST web services, C#/.NET, WPF Experience with AngularJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript/jQuery Please provide a link to your portfolio or examples of your work and skills.
