Quality Assurance Inspector - 2nd Shift

If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you! Your Role: Conduct thorough inspections of components, soldering, and assembled mechanical parts. Read and interpret assembly instructions to ensure accuracy. Perform Internal AS9100 audits to uphold our quality standards. Document non-conformance issues and initiate investigations to identify root causes. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED with 3-5 years of experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 system, or similar experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control. Strong understanding of IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards. Experience in handling non-conforming materials, conducting failure analyses, and implementing corrective actions. Ability to review and enhance work instructions and QMS documentation related to AS9100. Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. Excellent communication skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams. Must be based in North Alabama or willing to relocate. Ability to obtain and maintain a final secret security clearance. Open to working 2nd shift and overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook). Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum is a plus. This is a 2nd shift position. Join us in redefining technology and solving complex problems. $50,050.00 - $90,475.00 The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, and skills.
