Job Title: Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) Location: Braselton, GA Pay Rate: $20.00 – $29.50/hour (Based on Experience) Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Training Requirement: Must be able to train on 1st shift Tools: Must have own tools.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Maintenance Technician
to join our team on
2nd shift . This role is responsible for performing a wide range of duties related to the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and technically skilled across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical diagrams.
Troubleshoot PLCs and interpret ladder logic.
Fabricate parts using shop equipment as needed.
Use precision measuring and diagnostic instruments to identify and resolve issues.
Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and OSHA standards.
Document all maintenance activity and repairs in GURU.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across shifts.
Qualifications
Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance
or
Certificate with equivalent experience.
A.S. Degree + 2 years’ experience
OR
Certificate + 5 years’ experience
Licensed Electrician required
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with PLCs, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine shop tools.
Proficient with interpreting blueprints and technical manuals.
Strong computer and documentation skills.
Additional Requirements
Ability to lift/move items over 40 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Must be comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
