Purpose: Seeking a Senior Ab Initio ETL Administrator (not a developer) to manage administration of the Ab Initio ETL tool, lead migration of Ab Initio infrastructure to the Cloud, and support implementation of Data Integration/Data Warehouse solutions on-premises and in AWS Cloud (including EKS containerization). Experience Required (6–8 Years): 6+ years administering Ab Initio ETL tools, including GDE, Metadata Hub, and Operational Console. Proven ability to manage migration and infrastructure build projects independently. Expertise in Ab Initio, AWS EKS, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, RDS, DB2. Experience creating Big Data ETL pipelines from on-prem to Data Factories, Data Lakes, and cloud storage (EBS/S3). DevOps experience (CI/CD Pipeline), preferably Jenkins. Strong UNIX and SQL skills. Skilled in scripting and automation, including designing/developing automated ETL processes and architecture, unit testing, and troubleshooting environmental issues. Experience with break-fix work, continuous development, production change reviews, and code review. Knowledge of SOA, testing best practices, and enterprise collaboration. Agile experience is a plus. Technical Skills & Tools: UNIX AIX or Linux (extensive), shell scripting. AWS certification (plus). SDLC experience, systems programming or development background. Strong troubleshooting of mid-tier/infrastructure issues. Structured programming techniques. Core Competencies (Critical): Exceptional verbal/written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. Strong attention to detail and quality deliverables. Effective time management and ability to work independently.
