Registered Nurse Job Details Location: Colville, WA 99114 (Washington nursing jobs) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (September 8, 2025 - December 8, 2025) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2110-$2260 Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (25 beds) Unit: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:00) Hours per Week: 36 Charting System: Epic Scrub Color: Any color Parking: Free on-site parking Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Washington or Compact RN license (required at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (1 year considered if facility averages 150+ deliveries/month) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Proficiency with Epic charting system (required) Comprehensive experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care Strong clinical skills in high-risk deliveries, C-section circulation and recovery, EFM, IUPC placement/calibration, magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, central line maintenance, sterile vaginal exams, OB triage, and infection control/PPE Minimum of 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable healthcare setting Ability to work weekends and float to sister facilities as needed Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases Assist with high-risk deliveries and C-sections, including circulating and patient recovery Monitor and interpret fetal heart tracings; perform timely interventions Administer medications and therapies (magnesium sulfate, insulin drips) Maintain and monitor central lines (CVC/PICC) Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Document all patient care accurately in the Epic electronic health record system Follow infection control and isolation protocols Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns Ready to take the next step in your travel nursing career?
