ICU RN Job Details Location: Albany, Georgia (Zip: 31701) - Southwest Georgia healthcare jobs Assignment Length: 20 weeks (September 8, 2025 - January 26, 2026) Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM - 6:45 AM) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780-$1910 Setting: Acute Care, 38-bed ICU (Medical, Surgical, Cardiac) On-site Intensivist and Critical Care Nurse Practitioner coverage EMR: Meditech Floating: Within ICU division only Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (may vary based on unit needs) ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care hospital Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (or ASLS) certifications required Proficient in critical care drips, ventilators (CPAP, BiPAP, Hi Flow), and advanced patient monitoring Willingness to float to any ICU unit as needed Ability to work every other weekend and some holidays Compliance with hospital dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs, natural hair color, no fake nails or shellac, no facial piercings, no visible tattoos ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Meditech EMR Administer and titrate critical care drips; manage advanced respiratory support (vents, CPAP, BiPAP, Hi Flow) Collaborate with intensivists, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans Float to other ICU units within the division as needed Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical education Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards Why Choose Albany, GA for Your Next Travel Nursing Assignment?
