The Marketing and Events Coordinator at JOHN REED US is an important role supporting day-to-day marketing activity across all channels. You will be working closely with the National Marketing team, Club teams and District Manager. This role helps implement campaigns, manage content, and maintain marketing systems and tools. A key part of the role includes managing and posting organic social content-capturing real-time moments in our clubs to drive community engagement. This is an ideal role for a proactive, detail-oriented marketer with strong organizational skills and confidence in content creation. This role is on-site and based out of West Hollywood, CA and requires traveling 10% of the time.

  • Serve as the go-to marketing contact for all JOHN REED US club teams, supporting member events, assisting with logistics, coordination and on-site support if needed.
  • Coordinate requests between Club Managers, the Marketing and Creative team.
  • Assist in the rollout of national and local campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of assets and messaging across print, digital, and in-club formats.
  • Help ensure all club-level signage, printed materials, and digital screens are current and on-brand.
  • Help build and send member emails and push notifications; manage subscriber lists and monitor performance metrics.
  • Own day-to-day organic content capture and posting for Instagram and TikTok.
  • Create engaging, brand-aligned photo and video content during club visits, events, and daily moments.
  • Write and post captions, manage content calendars, and actively monitor engagement.
  • Source and share user-generated content (UGC), and support community engagement through comments and replies.
  • Support Marketing team with photoshoot planning: gather inspo, talent outreach, and assist on set.
  • Maintain and organize an internal library of marketing assets, including images, videos, logos, and templates.
  • Track marketing requests, timelines, and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Pull performance data and compile reports on campaign impact, social engagement, and member communications.
  • Travel to clubs for content capture, campaign launches, or marketing support needs.
Compensation: $60,000 - 70,000 based on experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of marketing experience, ideally in a fitness/lifestyle company, consumer-facing brand or agency.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
  • Comfortable capturing and editing content on the go (basic video, reels, stories, etc.).
  • Experience in mobile video editing apps (CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Express).
  • Strong written communication skills for captions, email copy, and internal briefs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using basic marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Canva, Google Workspace, or project management tools like Asana or Trello).
