Logistics Analyst
The Logistics Analyst is responsible for supporting fleet operations by assisting with logistics planning, data analysis, and compliance tracking. The role involves communication with brokers, coordinating load assignments, and ensuring timely fleet maintenance. Additional responsibilities include monitoring fuel consumption, tracking operational costs, and maintaining regulatory compliance records. The Logistics Analyst will utilize fleet management systems and load boards to optimize transportation efficiency. The position also includes general administrative duties such as preparing documentation for permits, registrations, and regulatory filings.
Responsibilities:
- Logistics & Fleet Operations Support
- Track fleet performance, vehicle utilization, and fuel consumption.
- Assist in coordinating fleet maintenance schedules to ensure timely servicing and compliance.
- Update fleet management systems to track vehicles, maintenance status, and compliance records.
- Load Coordination & Broker Communication
- Work with freight brokers and use load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) to secure loads.
- Communicate with brokers to confirm load details, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Support dispatching activities by ensuring drivers have all necessary information.
- Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
- Assist with DOT, IFTA, and IRP filings to ensure compliance.
- Maintain and organize fleet records for regulatory purposes.
- Data Entry & Reporting
- Organize logistics data in Excel and fleet management software.
- Track operational costs, including fuel, maintenance, and load expenses.
- General Administrative & Accounting Support
- Perform basic accounting tasks, such as logging expenses and assisting with invoice tracking.
- Prepare documentation for permits, registrations, and compliance filings.
- Communication & Coordination
- Work with drivers, brokers, and vendors to coordinate loads, maintenance, and compliance.
- Assist in Ukrainian-language communication with drivers and business partners when needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or automotive engineering.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in logistics, fleet management, or automotive engineering.
- Skills: Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Familiarity with load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop). Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks. Knowledge of fleet management systems (preferred but not required). Strong communication skills for working with brokers, vendors, and drivers.
